2.3 Research  

Undertake primary and secondary research to understand the characteristics of your audience and develop your ideas to reach that audience.

• Research social media platforms. Who's actively participating in discussions on relevant platforms? What is the most appropriate platform for your target audience and why?  

• Conduct online surveys or polls to gather specific data on your target audience's demographics, media habits, and attitudes towards your chosen cause, including their preferred social media platforms. 

• Analyse a variety of videos (at least 2) related to your chosen cause or target audience. Research existing organisations working on your chosen cause. Who do they typically target on social media?
