         <description><![CDATA[<div>Hangman: If the different characters acted different, there wouldn't have been so many deaths. If the people stood together and stopped the hangman, the town would still be full of people.<br>Lottery: the people would have acted a lot different when talking about the lottery, they would be terrified of the day. and just like the hangman, if the people would stand up to the people in charge, the lottery would hit its end.</div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>The Lottery's author used foreshadowing through symbolism. For example the lottery used rocks and subtle phrases to warn about the future. In the hangman it also uses phrases the presents and suggests shadows that implicate danger. The foreshadowing is important because it gets the reader hooked and leaves us guessing at what might happen .</div>]]></description>
