Jenni and Greg were both adopted by Bill and Carol but loved immensely. Greg was sadly diagnosed with cancer during his childhood and passed on his 40th birthday in 2014, just 6 weeks before his father.

"Society has really changed from when I was little. There was a book by Emily Post on manners. When I was a teenager I would try to follow it. However, when I was married, the book and it's rules went to the wayside. Very sad! I found people that people living in the south held onto the manners longer than people living in the North and Western side of the country. When I moved to North Carolina, I felt as if i'd gone back 20 years in time! We had to regain and relearn some of our manners and gain respect of our neighbors.

"I lost a friend, a classmate, in the Vietnam War. He was missing in action for many years. His co-pilot wrote a book called "Beyond Survival". From which I was able to tie all of the rumors I was hearing to different parts of his life story. Oh how i cried! Got to meet the author too.

Carol has a timeshare with Disney Vacation Club and some of her favorite memories are bringing her daughter Jenni, Son in law, Brandon, and Grandchildren, Ian, Owen and Grace to Florida for family vacations!
