Human beings are addicted to feeling. I think we associate feelings with truth. What ever feels right, what ever feels true- thats what we hold on to. We measure pain by the level of intensity that we can feel. The events that are charged with emotions that make us feel happy, scared, sad, angry, hurt, adventurous, or any other feeling are the moments that we hold on to.
