Students will learn about the three branches of government:  Legislative, Judicial, and Executive branches. They will use LED finger lights (white = Legislative, red = Judicial, and blue = executive) to answer different questions pertaining to the branches.
2. Students will look at the buildings used by the three branches. They will use a 3D printer to print the buildings of downloaded files they find on 3D printing sites.
3. Students will learn about districts and gerrymandering by moving desks around the room to see this visually.
4. Students will learn about the court systems in our government. On www.icivics.org they will learn about the different court systems by playing the game Court Quest, where they will be helping charcters decide if they need to go to state court or federal court.
5. Students will learn how a law is made. On www.icivics.org they will play the game LawCraft to play as a member of Congress: House of Representatives or Senate.
6.
