I was raised in a certain church and was active until I turned eighteen. Deciding what I find to be true and inspiring has been an interesting journey. I've learned a lot of things a long the way. I'm grateful for a foundation my parents gave me in understanding the importance of finding something bigger than yourself and being kind to others. I'm extremely close to my parents and each of my siblings. Although we are all very different, we share such great relationships. Being apart of my family is one of the main influences that has shaped me into the person I am today. I am continuously inspired by my family and the people they are and are continuing to become. I rely on my family for advice, support, and friendship. Living with this chronic illness has shaped my life in every aspect. It has given me the opportunity to meet other people with illnesses and the ability to be empathetic towards a variety of people. Living with an invisible illness has taught me the importance of being kind to everyone.
