This week, Tuesday morning I had to give up some sleep and wake up around 6:10 AM to take a shower. I gave up some sleep to be clean and ready for the school day. I think "free lunch" isn't necessarily free because, someone is paying for that food and can either be your parents paying for it or a school paying for it. EX: school lunch feels free for students but, reality is either the school is paying for the food or your parents are paying for it.

This week I had a plan to finish a project I had been working on, but I didn’t really want to do it and instead choice to hangout with friends and eat somewhere. I gave up the opportunity to work and chose fun, losing the time I had saved and the plan I had worked on. Time was scarce and if I had enough of it I could’ve done both. Although looking back on it, I could’ve easily done both in the same day, yet I chose to procrastinate. As for School Lunches being Free? That reality is nowhere near true. No matter what, someone somewhere is paying a tax or school fee that includes your lunch in addition to the already paid education. You have to have income, or a certain degree of “need”, in order to obtain the “free” lunch.

Today I ordered McDonald's for breakfast. Then when I got to school my friend asked if I wanted to go to dutch. I said why not. In that case I wasted my money since I got a medium drink from there. Since I already had a drink.

This week, I had to give up sleeping at the early time I wanted in order to finish an assignment I missed since I was absent due to an appointment. I couldn't do both things because if I took a nap and woke up to do my homework, knowing who I am, I would be unable to focus on my studies. I would've been too tired and ended up falling asleep regardless of how much homework I knew I had to get done. During this, I believe that time and sleep were scarce because at this time, I only had a certain amount of time to get my work done and I had to choose between my work or sleep. There is No Such Thing as a Free Lunch exemplifies that even if the lunch isn't paid for one time, another time this would mean that there is another option that the lunch would be paid anyways. Ultimately, if we go based on the background of free lunches, the lunches offered are paid for itself based on the amount of income obtained.

This week I had to give up sleep to wake for school so I can make it on time to the bus stop, cause usually I get up so late so I need to give up some sleep throughout this week.
