Collage it

Create a collage that shares key concepts, images and quotes from the novel.

Cartoon it

Create a timeline of your novel in cartoon or comic form. This can be done by hand, or by using technology. You could also create a mini graphic novel. Remember, we are dealing with serious subject matter; this is not the time for a silly/ humorous comic.

Trailer it

You've seen a movie trailer. Now make a book trailer based on your novel! I like to use imovie or Animoto, but you can try any app that works for you! Your trailer should use images, words and video in order to convince us to read your book! If you have Adobe at home, Adobe Spark has a movie creator as well. Your images, music and video inserts should all tie in with your book.

Level 2: A level 2 activity is OKAY. Your ideas include some detail, and show that you have read the novel. As a media piece it lacks audience appeal. You have given this a partial effort and shown some sensitivity to the topic. Now ask yourself... how could I have improved?
