1. What are arguments for and against receiving a cochlear implant? They are likely to develop fluent and healthy speech and be able to hear the world around them. However, there is a large room for error in the surgery being that they have to drill into your skull, making it very risky.
2. After receiving cochlear implants what are some of the benefits and struggles that are experienced?
