She was born on March 26, 1957.
She left her country to study art in the United States (University of California) at 17 years old but when she returned in 1990, she found out it was unrecognizable from the Iran before the 1979 revolution.

The soles of her feet are lighter compared to the darker shade of the gun creates a balance between the two objects. The darker shade may symbolise the evilness of the gun and her feet and the writings on it may symbolise good and purity.
