      <description>Dr. Robert M. Webman has served as a primary care doctor and the chief executive officer of his Torrance, California practice since 1998. In addition to treating patients in his office, he has experience managing patient care in hospital settings. While he excels as a gastroenterologist familiar with all GI endoscopic procedures, he frequently provides coverage for fellow internists and family practice physicians. Furthermore, Dr. Robert M. Webman works part-time as a staff gastroenterologist at the Harbor-UCLA Medical Center, a position preceded by his time as a volunteer teacher at the center.

Dr. Webman holds a bachelor’s degree in zoology from the University of Massachusetts at Amherst, and a medical degree from the University of Massachusetts Medical School. During his time as an undergraduate he was a member of the Phi Beta Kappa honor society. Upon receiving his medical degree, he trained in internal medicine at the Hospital of the Good Samaritan in Los Angeles and as a gastroenterologist with Tulane Medical Center in New Orleans.</description>

An endoscope is a tubular instrument with a light and high-definition camera used to examine a person’s internal organs. Accordingly, the esophagus connects the throat to the stomach, while the duodenum is the upper part of the small intestine.</div><div><br><br></div>]]></description>
