         <description><![CDATA[<div>In step 20 you have to make the following exercises to prepare for the presentation:<br><br><strong>1. Reading<br></strong>- choose a character<br>- think about the story with your character in mind<br>- take notes and brainstorm<br>- describe what your character looks like<br>- talk about your character's background<br>- describe your character's personality<br>- describe how the character changes or grows during the story.<br><strong><br>2. writing<br></strong>Write a minimum of 10 sentences about the setting of your story. Use these questions to help you get started:<br><br></div><ul><li>Where is the story set? </li><li>When is the story set? </li><li>What is the weather like? </li><li>What does the landscape look like?</li></ul><div><br>Use this link to describe the characters + setting : <br>https://www.esolcourses.com/content/exercises/grammar/adjectives/personality/words-for-describing-personality.html  <br><br>Think of the following aspects to describe a setting:<br>- Time/historical period<br>- Geographic location<br>- Local colors (traditions/customs)<br>- Atmosphere<br>- Specific Physical features <br><strong><br>3. Listening<br></strong>Watch two dialogues from films to get an idea of such a conversation.<br><br></div><div>Write down the words and phrases the characters use to introduce themselves.<br><br></div><div><strong>4. Conversation<br></strong>Write a dialogue between your character and your partner's character. This doesn't have to be from the same book.<br><br>First think of the following:<br><br></div><ul><li>Where does the meeting take place? </li><li>When does the meeting take place? </li></ul><div><br></div><div>Include in the conversation:<br><br></div><ul><li>greeting each other</li><li>introducing yourself or asking who someone is</li><li>explaining what you are doing there</li><li>asking and telling what has happened to you</li><li>asking or telling how you feel about the event or the situation</li><li>reacting to these feelings</li><li>ending the conversation</li></ul>]]></description>
