The United States has always put a focus on the freedom and rights of the people since its founding in 1776. The idea of human rights and freedom of the people is what defines the US.

The US not only focusses to protect human rights internally, but also externally on an international level. The US has been known to use its diplomatic power to ensure other countries abide to the protection of human rights.

The US is one of the world's largest democracies. American citizens are very patriotic about their democracy. Democracy means a transparent system between the people and the state. The people have the right to decide the fate of their country and who leads it.

England has multiple strong laws that ensure freedom and equal treatment of individuals.

Marginalised groups including immigrants, refugees and ethnic minorities all face challenges in accessing their human rights despite legal protections

England is a democratic country which protects and promotes important fundamentals and freedom.

France is openly democratic, however does enforce certain discriminatory rules specifically against their arab/muslim population.

Human rights in Sweden are largely protected in the country's constitution and ratified international law
