So far, what I have learned from Act 2 is that Sheila finally accepted what she has done wrong, started defending herself and wants to be treated like an adult. She knows that her family should stop acting so high and mighty because they all did something wrong and the inspector knows it, so there is no point in hiding it. Sheila is the voice of reason in the room. Gerald has finally admitted what he did to Eva.There is foreshadowing because at the beginning of the play Sheila knew that Gerald was up to something during the summer and she finally finds out what he was doing in Act 2.
We also learn that while Sheila takes responsibility for what she did, her mom doesn't. Her mother thinks she has nothing to do with the death of Eva and that she only has herself to blame for what she did and she didn't want to help Eva because she lied about her identity and her background which was a prejudice act because she felt insulted about what she did. Her mother also thinks that it's the father of the child, that Eva is pregnant with, who is responsible and should be the one to blame. But she wants to take it back when she finds out it's her son.

I have learned how perseptive and responsible Sheila is and seems as if she is the mouthpiece Act 2, and how mrs. Birlings character is quite similar to mr. birling: how they both look down upon people in a lower class and how they both are capitalists.

the things we have learnt in act 2 of AIC the sheila has finally started standing up for herself and has started to accept the fact that she is partly responsible for the suicide of eva smith. Furthermore the rest of the family are slowly understand the part they played in eva smiths suicide.
Priestley has shown how people in 1912 were mainly capitalists.
Thee was a lot of foreshadowing and dramatic irony going on throughout act 2 there is an example of this is when sheila said she knew that there was something going on over summer
Mrs Birling is refusing to take responsibility for actions that lead towards eva smith death
Towards the end of act 2 Mrs billing starts to realise that eric has also played a part in the death of eva smith

We have started to see the incorporation of responsibility and an advanced exaggeration or focus on the topic. We see Sheila change in Act II the most, she is shown as a better suited character and her change in character is how Priestley shows the contrast between Sheila's old and new character and how the 1945 audience who now favor her understand her more and her perspective on what's happening. How she reacts is how the author shows the theme of responsibility.

so far in act 2 of 'AIC' we have learnt that Gerald had a affair with eva smith and how he ket her in a house and lied to his fiancé about it all and said that he was at work. they also show that sheila breaks off their engagement by giving the ring back as he left for a walk. we also get to know that Eric had a child with eva and he also gave her stolen money for prostitution. Shiela is the mouthpiece of Priestley as she takes responsibility and she keeps changing character in a way, from being sarcastic to cheeky to serious.we also know that Mrs. Birling denied help to Eva as she was crying for help.

I have learned, from Act 2, that Sheila's personality is starting to develop into almost an entirely new character unlike how she was before, when she behaved like a stereotypical woman in 1912. She became aware of her own faults which made her realized she was responsible for the death of Eva Smith.

For example, Sheila said, "And I'm not a child, don't forget," this implies that she is standing up for herself and how she tries to move away from the women stereotype boundary during 1912.

Ahmed's favorite is the Inspector

We learned that apparently men were allowed to cheat on their wives in the 1912.
We also learned the secret behind the name "Daisy Renton" and that names are more than just names.

Omar:Sheila is a nuisance to the characters. EvaShe develops her character and starts acting a little more mature and is sick of people treating her like a child. She is sick of her mom not admitting what she has done and she feels more responsible for the suicide of Eva Smith. Sheila feels bad of what Gerald did and gave back his ring. Mrs. Birling is more like Mr. Birling, she's very deniable and acts like she doesn't know Eva Smith and like she has nothing to do with Eva Smith's suicide,

She keeps the stereotype of upper class and how they refuse to say they are responsible for Eva's death. Sheila appears to be the complete opposite of Mrs Birling, as Sheila accepts her responsibility and that she is guilty.
