Texas History is one of my worse subjects, and since it was a major, I was especially scared. I decided, "I will study hard this weekend so I can get a great grade." I studied for at least two hours over the weekend, but only towards the end I made some real progress. Still, I kept studying and ended up getting a 96% on the test, one of the highest scores I've ever gotten on a History grade.

How does this relate to the theme?
This relates to the theme because I had to work really hard to make a good grade. On normal tests I'd just pray that I'd remember the names of people, names of the battles, the correct dates of important events, because I believed even if I worked hard I wouldn't get the results. Instead of doing performances on stage like most dance studios, we do video shoots. On this particular week, I was sick. the previous week, the teacher didn't have time to teach us the rest of the dance-the hard part. But he warned us that we needed to have the full dance learned. Since I was somewhat sick, I didn't learn the dance, but then the day before the shoot came.  I needed to learn the dance, no matter my condition, as I wasn't going to just miss the shoot. After an hour or so, I finally was able to do the dance. When we went to the shoot, most of the kids didn't know the steps so he didn't know I did too. But one good thing happened- he realized towards the end that I knew the dance. Later he realized how well I was doing and let me join the adult class whenever I wanted. A little before COVID happened, I got an invitation to be in the kids to help out along with also being in the adult advanced class.
