The teacher also shared the importance of teaching children to listen to their body. She shared that our generation are too used to overworking ourselves, and will only take a break when we are very sick. She shared it’s very important to listen to our body.

i enjoyed learning how we can use the outdoor environment and natural materials to teach the children music because it was something i would not have thought of.

I enjoyed that we could move around and learn at the different stations, but not the weather. I learnt that we can use storytelling to engage the children and teach gross motor skills.

We can use sticks and leaves to represent vowels and consonants and we can also ask children to create words.

Read stories outdoors with the children using the living book

Integrate L&L (create story related to sea creatures)

Use red, green, yellow paper -> look for those colours outdoors

Read storybook outdoors
