I’m Elli from all the way from cold, but beautiful Finland. I’m 26 years old morning porridge enthusiastic, who loves nature, punk music and vintage clothes. I like to try new things and because of that I have a long list of hobbies I’m exited about 😄 Snowboarding, running, gym, circus, bouldering, yoga you name it and I’m in 🕺🏻

I’m also interested of equality and human rights. At the moment I work with unemployed youngsters and I have a strong background in youth work. ESC volunteering have been my dream for years and I’m so happy to share this experience with you! :) I don’t speak French (yet!) My biggest goal atm is to keep my Dualingo streak long and strong 💅🏻 I wish from my ESC experience new friends, good food, opportunities to visit mountains, national parks and South-France. I will be the volunteer from Germany 🇩🇪 since I live there and I was born in Stuttgart but originally I'm from Croatia 🇭🇷

In my free time I really like to ride my bike, hang out with friends and my brothers a lot and do funny in general. I have been playing the drums for over 12 years now and I do a lot of sport like football or workouts.

What makes me special is that I have my own band with my friends and my older brother (sonsofidols_realofficial on IG)

We have had some incredible live performances in our region.

Besides that I enjoy working with my dad on our cars, on our boat, on the house or whatever.

Last but not least I like traveling around Europe especially and see different countries and cultures with my family

In school I have participated in several international programms, I've been the main technican for musicals in school and I have led some other programs on my own.

My main subjects in which I wrote my final exams were physics, Englisch and geography, which I enjoy the most.

I want to participate in this international project in order to expand my little knowledge of the French language and to meet and to interact with new people.

After the 10 months I will go to university in Germany.

So let me introduce myself. I am Aya Trad, 18 years old from Lebanon 🇱🇧. I’m currently pursuing a bachelor's degree in business management at Southern New Hampshire University.

I am passionate about sustainability and social impact, which is reflected in my diverse experiences. Moreover, I am so interested in the field of international relations and political science. I have actually represented my country three times abroad, won many scholarships and awards. Also, I have mentored more than 50 students and facilitated projects that aims to make a social impact. Recently I have been selected by Expertise France to work with the National Anti-Corruption Commission. I’ve also been involved in various extracurricular activities, such as being a member of the youth advisory board with UNDP Lebanon, an EU JEEL Connector and nominated as the youngest Youth Peace Ambassador with ICESCO.

You can tell I really enjoy engaging in projects that promote sustainability! And this is the reason why I applied to take part of this ESC project😄

Beside my professional side, I enjoy meeting youth from different countries, I also enjoy singing since I have a good voice😅🎤, traveling and trying new things out is literally my vibe🤩

I'm 18 years old and I just graduated from grammar school. Even though I wrote my final exams in French, I still have to learn a lot about the every day use of the language and I am really looking forward to it🇨🇵✨.

I am a very creative person, so I really enjoy drawing/painting (also digitally) and a lot of other creative activities like origami or crocheting. In school I even participated in a project to create my own storybook.

You could say that I am an all-rounder, because I kind of enjoy a lot of things and to try out new activities. For example I like gardening (at the moment I am cultivating an army of tomatoes🍅💪), cooking/baking, reading books and comics, playing the e-guitar, listening to podcasts and music 🎶, playing video games, doing sportive activities (f.ex. taekwondo, volleyball, hiking). I especially like doing those tings together with my friends or my older sister.

Not to forget: I really like travelling and I have already visited several european countries, so living in one of them for a year will be an even more intense experience✨.

In my ESC year I am really looking forward to find a lot of new friends, improving my language skills, developing my personality, spend a lot of time at the sea and of course to eat a lot of galettes🤌🇨🇵.

I’m a physician working mainly in sports injuries and neuro-rehab field , i’m a certified nutritionist also, i’ve been working in a Hospital since i graduated , so i felt that i need a good pause and go through a new adventure before applying for my masters, and i couldn’t find a better adventure than volunteering😍.

I’m so passionate about Nature , Animals and human psychology, so in love with life’s little details. I believe that i’m an Ambivert which means being a mix of both an introvert and an extrovert. I like learning new things every now and then, and get to make new friendships with people from different cultures and backgorunds♥️.

In my free time i like to walk my dog , go to the beach with my friends , play video games with my sisters, cook a good meal and watch a good movie. My name is Adrián and I'm from Spain 🇪🇸, I'm 22 years old and I'm in the last year of my university degree, which is political science at the University of Granada, but I'm from Extremadura (Badajoz).

In my free time I like to see new places, listen to music and take walks with my friends, it is always a pleasure to meet new people and places to be able to learn from them.

In my free time, I really enjoy all sorts of creative activities, but I am especially fond of crocheting, scrapbooking, and drawing. I also started sewing a couple of months ago, which has always been a skill I wanted to learn. In general, I like working on DIY and upcycling projects. Besides these, I also love cooking and baking.

Although some people don’t consider it a hobby, I am truly passionate about movies. My favorite movie is called "Life of Pi"

I recently finished my final exams and am currently preparing a few things for when I receive my high school diploma. I helped design and organize the school yearbook together with a friend, and I’m really looking forward to seeing how people will react when they receive it. Right now, I’m just enjoying my free time and going out with friends.

After my voluntary year, I’d like to go to university, but I’m not yet sure what I want to study.

I'm Hannah and I'm from the Düsseldorf area in Germany. I’m 18 years old and have just graduated school this summer. At the moment I’m enjoying my free time and I will go on a DiscoverEu trip, probably to Slovenia and Croatia this summer.

I dance a lot in my free time, mainly ballet or a kind of modern dance. I also make a lot of music like playing harp and piano, sometimes in an orchestra or together with other people. I also enjoy other activities such as reading, going out with my friends or sailing.

In my volunteer year, I'm looking forward to improve my French skills, to get to know new people, develop my personality and spend a lot of time to discover the area there. I’m not really sure what I want to study after the 10 months, maybe something where I can interact and work with children. That’s why I hope the volunteer year will help to reinforce my vision because at the moment I really like to interact with children.

I don’t really have a favorite song because I like to listen to many different music genres,  but a song that brings me energy is Dancing Queen from ABBA.
