After getting lots of feedback from the students I taught during my first year of teaching, I made writing my primary focus for my second year. Watching students grow as writers has recently become one of my best parts of my job. This year I not only watched several students' writing quality improve, but also their confidence in their ability to think critically and tackle tough work. I am pursuing my degree in Education Leadership, but recognize the value of learning about technology integration in the classroom, as I use it every day as an English teacher. In Edmond Public Schools, we use the learning management system called Canvas that students access on their Chromebooks.
