MyLessonPal

I would like to use MyLessonPal in my future teaching experiences when I have my classroom because it is a free AI tool that generates lesson plans, worksheets, flashcards, quizzes, and many other resources based on the topic, subject, grade level, and other requirements inputted into the required squares. This tool could help me create engaging and effective lesson plans and other resources for the topics or concepts that I am working on, but it can also improve the quality and presentation of the materials. MyLessonPal is totally customizable, which makes it simple to create resources that fit the students’ specific needs, and the lesson plans provide learning objectives that allow the students to fit the curriculum requirements. Finally, I would want to use this tool because it is a resource that could provide me with information that I am unfamiliar with and create a lesson plan that I can base myself off of, which will help improve my delivery of the lesson.

Google Classroom

Google Classroom will be an excellent tool to incorporate into my classroom because it is a simple tool that will help organize, structure, and manage a virtual classroom. This tool will facilitate communication between parents and students where I can share announcements and communicate with them if there is any problems or questions on material they are working on. Google Classroom is a platform that allows teachers to easily create, distribute, and grade assignments but also track submissions and student progress. This platform can allow me to differentiate because I can assign different assignments to foster my students diverse learning needs. On Google Classroom, I can distribute different visual materials for students to view, and I can assign worksheets, assignments, and mini quizzes. Alongside of the different materials, I could attach a rubric to ensure that the students are hitting the learning objectives. Through this platform I can provide direct feedback on each students work submitted to me. Finally, I would use Google Classroom to post and assign different materials on things/concepts taught in class to provide extra practice and to determine if students understand the concepts and met the learning objectives. I would also provide students with different videos on the different concepts for them to view that will deepen their understanding.

Scratch

Scratch is a free user-friendly online tool that introduces students to programming language and coding concepts that is fun and accessible for all students. This tool will help engage and motivate students to produce their own interactive games, stories, animations, and learning videos that can be share between students and even parents. Since it will require students to create their own product using codes will foster students’ creativity and self-expression because it will allow them to produce something that they like and are proud of. Scratch allows students to share their projects to allow multiple students to work on it collaboratively and will allow students to learn from each other based on students’ different skills. This tool will allow students to integrate any subjects taught in schools. I would use Scratch to ask students to produce different projects that reflects the concepts and ideas taught during lessons. These projects that students will produce will allow us teachers to determine if they have grasped all the concepts and have met the learning goals.

Mural

® Mural is a tool that students can use to create and develop different kinds of ways to brainstorm and present their opinions, questions, and ideas through mind maps, flowcharts, storyboards, choice boards, graphic organizers, and many other things. This tool can be used individually or collaboratively through diverse activities that encourage student engagement and participation. Students will also be able to express their ideas and opinions on a mural that has already been created through drawings, images, videos, or a written component. This tool will be used in my classroom because it is a platform that allows students to visually present questions, ideas, or concepts that reflect what has been taught in their classes. It is a simple tool that allows students to collaborate where they can provide idea sharing and feedback exchange. I would use Mural in my classroom to engage students in discussion boards where they answer questions created by me, projects that reflect concepts taught in class, organizers to display their ideas on stories or essays that they are writing, providing feedback on students work, and visually displaying steps taken in science experiments or a coding project. Finally, I would use Mural to allow my students to participate in thought boards where students can discuss their ideas and thoughts on books read in class but also answer questions that the teacher asked students to provide a collaborative idea of the story.
