    Earth Day mission is to diversify, educate and activate the environmental movement worldwide. They work to get individuals to advocate for the environment.

  2. Research and summarize a recent protest they staged. What were they protesting? Where? How did they protest? What was the result?

    In 1970, 20 million Americans took to the streets, college campuses and hundreds of cities to protest environmental ignorance and demand a new way forward. Activists held teach-ins, speeches, debates, demonstrations, protests, burials for automobiles, and many more events nationwide. This helped to publicize and bring awareness to environmental issues.
