Istanbul's climate is like the Izmir's climate : Summers are dry and hot, winters are warm and rainy. But Istanbul's winters are colder and snowier than Izmir's winters.

According to Travel Leisure readers of the American tourism magazine, Istanbul is the third best city in Europe.

Cappadocia is a historical city of Turkey. It was built by the Phrygians in BC. 8th century. Cappadocia was built for protection from invasions and protection of trade routs. Cappadocia is located Central Anatolia, largely in Nevsehir Province, in Turkey. It covers an area of approximately 5000 square kilometers.

Cappadocia was formed by the erosion of an ancient volcano. Its name comes from the Persian name Katpaktukya which means the land of beautiful horses. But it is a national park now.

All of the provinces of Artvin, Rize, Trabzon, Gumushane, Bayburt, Giresun, Ordu, Sinop, Samsun, Amasya, Kastamonu, Zonguldak, Bartin, Bolu, and almost all of Tokat, are in the Black Sea Region. It is a touristy place.  Corn, wheat, rice, barley, beans, sugar beets, potato, onion, sunflower, hemp, hazelnuts etc. are grown in Black Sea. Black Sea's climate is generally rainy. It is the most rainy place in the Turkey.
