         <description><![CDATA[<div>After the Supreme Court made Nixon turn in all of the tapes, including the incriminating Smoking Gun Tape, Nixon decided that he wouldn't have the votes to survive being impeached. He chose to resign his position as president at noon on August 8th, 1974.</div>]]></description>

This room was broken into by C.R.E.E.P, - The Committee to Re Elect the President - a republican committee to keep Nixon in office. These people broke into the DNC on June 17th, 1972, to get dirt on the Democrats in order to keep Nixon as president.</div>]]></description>
