         <description><![CDATA[<div>Failure to Conquer Japan, World History Patterns Of Interactions, Koreans were forced to build, sail, and provide provisions for the boats. These costs almost nearly destroyed the Korean Economy. And both times the Mongolian Empire tried to invade Japan, Japan made the Mongols retreat. The Kamakura Shogunate helped protected Japan against the barbaric. So, as cruel and viscous as the Mongolian empire was their efforts while great weren't enough to take over japan with it's Divine Winds.</div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>Korea was used as a bridge, stepping stones to get to Japan. But the typhoon, allowed Japan to never be conquered by the Mongols. Furthermore, the Mongol domination of Eurasia transmitted cultural exchange, and this would be an example for some of the Korean ideas and technology to other areas under Mongol control.&nbsp;<br><br>However, this does not excuse the Mongols actions towards Korea and Japan. </div>]]></description>

Chinas' revolt towards the Mongols allowed Koreas king to reclaim some Northern parts of Korea. Before this, many princesses of Korea would marry into directly the Mongol or Khan aristocracy.</div>]]></description>
