The weather was extremely hot, but I had fun swimming and playing with water guns with my son. The admission fee was inexpensive, and there weren’t many people, which made it even better.

During the vacation, I went with an older friend to the Sejong Center for the Performing Arts, right next to Gyeongbokgung Palace, to watch a piano concert.

The hall was beautiful, and the performance was so fun and wonderful that I really enjoyed it. After the concert, we looked around the Sejong Center, and everything was so impressive and nice.

We then went to Gyeongbokgung Palace nearby, took photos, walked around, and had a great time. We also visited Kyobo Bookstore, browsed around, and even bought some things I wanted—it was so nice.

After that, we went to Gwanghwamun to have a meal, and the food was delicious. On our way home, we happened to see a classical busking performance. I had seen bands before, but it was my first time seeing classical music being performed on the street, so it was really fascinating and fun.

I definitely want to go again someday.

I went grocery shopping at Costco with my mom over the weekend. I’ve been there many times before, but since it had been a while, it felt nice to go again, and I was surprised to see how many things had changed. I also liked how big and cool the store was. It was really fun and interesting to pick out ingredients together with my mom. There were lots of sample stations too, and the food I tried was so delicious. At the food court, we bought tteokbokki and watermelon juice, which were both really tasty, and we had a great time. I definitely want to go again next time!

During the vacation, I went to see a play with my mom. We left in the morning and arrived at Hyehwa Station in Daehak-ro about two hours before the play started. While waiting, we went to a café and looked around at some clothes. When it was time, we watched the play. It was a horror play, and it turned out to be scarier than I expected. Although the weather was extremely hot, it was still a fun experience.

I went to the Irish Castle Water Park with my family by car. The first thing I went to the outdoor water pool was the outdoor water pool. There were many people, so I had a hard time even waiting. I was a little disappointed because the waves didn't hit me, but they hit me, and it bounced very high and it was fun. I played hard and ate pork bibimbap for lunch. It was hotter than I thought but it was delicious, and I ate sausage for dessert. I ordered sashimi and went to the green onion pool. It was deep, but I was okay because I swam well, and I went home at 6 o'clock because I was tired. It was hard but fun because I played in the water for about 5 hours.

I went to Seoul Children’s Grand Park alone during the weekdays of my vacation. Since it was a weekday, there weren’t many people, so it was convenient to look around. However, the problem was the scorching weather—I had to rely on my portable fan while touring the zoo. Because of the blazing sun, I had no choice but to quickly escape to the subway station. Still, unlike my last visit, I saw some impressive animals, and what stayed in my memory the most was a hyena that seemed to have a staring contest with me.

During the vacation, I felt as though I was trapped in two different academies for a total of eight long hours every single day, and because of that, I wasn’t able to do anything else that I wanted. The endless classes and constant studying made it feel like the entire break just slipped away without giving me any real freedom or rest. While other people seemed to be enjoying their time off, I spent most of my days moving back and forth between the academies, sitting in classrooms, and waiting for the hours to pass. In the end, it felt less like a vacation and more like being locked up, unable to use my time in the way I truly wished.
