Giuseppe's care is now in the hands of a man named Stephano who is very mean. Giuseppe and the other orphans have to make money for Stephano by playing music on the streets. Giuseppe is trying to find away back home with his siblings. Hannah is forced into providing for her family as her father grows ill and they slowly run out of food. Fredrick is an ex orphan that has been a apprentice to a clockmaker and Fredrick wanted to be a Journeyman and to do that he is trying to prove himself to the clockmaker that he can do it but at the same time he learns about his mother.
