Looks like it is Spring time, as there is a bit of snow in the background yet, the kids are using rubber boots and wind pants, with thin gloves.

2nd Picture- Couple 3-5 year olds, discovering different objects out side, learning to use a magnifying glass. Looks like it is Fall time, as the land is changing colour. Looks like the kids are enjoying looking at objects as they seem bigger through the magnifying glass.

3rd Picture- A mother packing her baby, looks like she is looking at other children, teaching them how to use the swing at the playground. Look like it is fall time.

4th Picture- a 4-5 year old, learning to climb on the thing at the playground.

Describe all the different ways that children in these photos are benefiting from outdoor play.

The 1st picture is a social domain, they are swinging together. They are probably around the age of 3-5, in the background you can see snow! It’s very cloudy in this picture as well. The children are smiling and learning to take turns.

The 2nd photo- it’s the same children in the first photo, this is also a social domain, they’re looking at things together with their own magnifying glass.

3rd photo-a mother and her baby are at the playground. The mother is packing the baby, they could be socializing with other mothers and their baby’s at the playground. The weather is cloudy, they’re both smiling which means they’re happy and having fun.

4th photo- The child is climbing by himself, it doesn’t mean that he’s playing alone he could be with his friends, he’s also in the first 2 pictures. He’s learning how to climb and where to put his feet and hands. It’s hard to say what his emotions are like because he’s facing the other way, he could be happy, angry. It doesn’t look like it’s sunny, could be cloudy.

Shay
