I chose this piece because it is a color coordinated, I love the blue the artiest used of the back ground color; it gave me the peaceful feeling. Miscarriage is a tragic topic to discuss, this lady in the art is still dreaming about the joyful time for her child, but unfortunately that she might physically lost her child. 

Miscarriage refers to the loss of a pregnancy before the 20th week of gestation. The miscarriage rate varies depending on the age of the mother, the presence of underlying medical conditions and life style factors. According to the research, among women under the age of 35, the miscarriage rate is approximately 10%-20%, women aged 35-45, the miscarriage rate increases to 20%-35%, women over age of 45, the miscarriage rate is approximately 50%. Independent cases can vary based on the maternal's situation. 

My major takeaway from this picture is that miscarriage could happen to anyone of us.
