Even though Cusi has Chuto, I think he is looking for something beyond just one person. In the chapters I also analyzed that Cusi has a very close bond with the llamas. In one of the recent chapters, Cusi found out about the task Chuto does every year. Apparently, he takes some llamas from the herd, and brings them as a sacrifice. Knowing about this ritual has made Cusi's heart darken.
