being vegetarian not only helps save our planet from climate change but it also helps keep a healthy lifestyle. in article two it states "20% higher risk of getting cancer for people who have a diet that includes a lot of processed meats." this is a perfect example of how having a plant based diet can help a person be healthier. when a person includes processed meats in their diets it raises the chances of a person getting sick so changing up the diet can help a person live safer and better.

becoming a vegetarian can help our earth become a healthier and greener place. climate change is a huge issue in our current day to day lives. our forests are burning and the productions of meats make it so much worse in article 2 it states "Cattle farming is responsible for 71% of Latin American deforestation." this shows us that the process of the meat production leads to a large amount of loss in our forests. this affects our world lowering our production of natural air from our trees. living a vegetarian lifestyle can help prevent these sad losses of the nature all around us.

Going vegetarian can help save millions of animals lives keeping them safe from violent manufacturers and letting them live peacefully and happy in a healthy environment. in article 1 it states "The world continues to experience large heat changes in climate that are causing bad effects on crops, animals and people." this is a clear example of how becoming vegetarian can help animals and people at the same time. climate change affects everyone's animals and people it can lead to natural disasters but also can hurt our planet that animals need to survive. this is why becoming vegetarian is an amazing way to protect our earth and the life on it.

The process of producing meats also has a big affect on our water sources. The toxic chemicals coming from the manufacturers is released into our water systems leading to more pollution in our oceans. In article 1 it states "Factory farms are one of the main sources of water pollution, because synthetic fertilizer, manure, pesticides and other farm products often end up flowing into nearby waterways." with this we see that the pollution that comes from the production of meats affects our planet in so many different ways not only our forests but also our water sources. by limiting the meat production we can make our earth better for every living organism.

One new skill I learned was how to use padlet. I had never used padlet but I also learned how to find more information for certain topics. this can help me in the future when I do assignments on padlet. this also helps for future assignments when I need to do research on certain things I was able to find many websites for the topic I was doing research on.

I learned many things about my topic on why becoming a vegetarian was good for a persons health but also for the environment. I learned that a lot of pollution and deforestation comes from the production of meats. I also learned that eating these processed foods especially meats is bad for a persons health. this helped me focus more on what I'm eating. I've never been a big fan of meat so this kinda helped me feel better about it because by eating less meat I am helping the planet but also myself.
