"The Green Book" was my favorite book in elementary school. I believe we read it as a class in third grade, but I just could never put it down. The book followed a girl who had to leave Earth because it was dying. After traveling through space they found a new planet, but things were definitely not the same as earth.

As I continued through elementary school the "Twilight" series came out. These books I quickly became emotionally invested in. I read the series countless times, and If I ever got grounded I would just go to my room and read my books. My parents quickly learned that if they wanted me to clean my room, they would have to take the books away too.
