         <title>Description of tropical rainforest and image-</title>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>The tropical rainforest is a type of rainforest that occurs in a tropical rainforest climate. For instance, there is no dry season.They have two seasons. They have a long wet winter and a hot dry summer.  These rainforest are close to the equator. Therefore, they get heavy insolation from the sun making them hot, humid, and moist. The temputature in these rainforest range from 68 degrees fahrenheit to 77 degrees fahrenheit. The average precipitation is a tropical rainforest is 50 to 260 inches per year. These rainforest are rich in animal life. They are populated with insects like butterflies and beetles. Additionally, they are populated with arachnids like spiders and ticks. Furthermore, they have birds, worms, reptiles, and amphibians.  <br>  </div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>As seen in this graph, the average annual precipitation of the tropical rainforest is 50 to 260 inches per year. Furthermore, in the graph the annual temperature of the tropical rainforest is between 68 degrees as a low and 93 degrees as a high. These rainforest are located in a band around the equator. This would be zero degrees latitude. This is the area between the Tropic of Cancer and The Tropic of Capricorn. The geographic features that make up the rainforest includes the equator belt and the amount of precipitation with immense vegetation.      </div>]]></description>

         <title>Why do Latitude and Altitude affect this climate? </title>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>Since the latitude of the biome is closer to the equator it is hot and humid because it has more insolation. When biomes are closer to the equator they are hotter and wetter. the altitude affects this climate because for each 1,000 feet risen in altitude the temperature drops four degrees. For instance, if the biome is at 10,000 feet the temperature would be 35 degrees fahrenheit. However, these rainforest are low-land. Therefore, they are closer to the equator which make them moist and hot.   </div>]]></description>

         <title>Effects on insolation on Biome</title>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>There is an immense amount of plants in the tropical rainforest. The hot and humid climate provides the ideal life for the plant. However, with the amount of rain the plants receive they have to make adaptations. For instance, the leaves of forest trees have a drip tip. This makes the water run off the plants. Plants in the tropical rainforest have to get rid of water to avoid the growth of fungus and bacteria. Furthermore, some plants that are found in the tropical rainforest include ferns, banana trees, rubber trees, and a lot more. </div>]]></description>

Another adaptations that animals have is long legs. For example, the spider monkey has long limbs to climb through the large trees throughout the rainforest. Some animals cope with the heat in the rainforest by being nocturnal and only coming out at night. This can include bats.    </div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>In this pyramid the producers which are the ferns and mosses get 100 percent of the energy from the sun. The primary consumers which are the caterpillars, ants, and birds get 10 percent of energy from the producers. The secondary consumers which are the iguanas, frogs, and bats get 1 percent of energy from the primary consumer. Finally, the tertiary consumers which is the jaguar and python get 0.1 percent of energy from the secondary consumer. As you go up the pyramid the biomass decreases  and each energy level after producers get 10 percent from the next.  Therefore, if there was no producers the pyramid would fall apart. Each level is vital. </div>]]></description>
