Djuren kan klara sig på bland annat dessa sätt: DE kan flytta söder ut, Äta mycket på hösten. Maten de äter ger de mycket energi som gör att djuren kan lagra kroppen , på så sätt håller de värmen. De kan också sova under vintern.


En del insekter övervintrar som ägg. För att ägg tål kyla och inte behöver äta någon mat.
