         <description><![CDATA[<div>* You are correct; we provide services to kids at different levels depending on their need for challenge.  <br>*  The new elementary AAPS levels of service (LoS) is a four-tiered system like the MTSS pyramid.   All students receive Level 1 services, and many students receive Level 2 services.  A formal referral is NOT needed until Levels 3 and 4.<br>*  Because a formal referral is required for LoS 3 and 4, we can consider that "entrance based on criteria" for specialized services, which is Tier 4 on the MTSS pyramid.</div>]]></description>
