I think most teachers are struggling to develop content EVERY single day, in addition to trying to support our ELLs and exceptional learners. This takes more time than we have, even working late into the night or early morning. Having access to resources and content-based lessons that can adapted and modified would be EXTREMELY helpful, and free up more time to work with individual and small groups of learners. I know how to create a learner profile and place students, but can't do this if I can't work with them in the ways that they require. Many don't interact at all because they don't understand. If I can't assess and help develop their oral language skills, it becomes VERY difficult to move forward. We are directed to more and more online resources, but the reality is, there is NO TIME because we are building all of the resources and working with far larger numbers than we would in a f2f situation.
