1. my plans were to evacuate and go to north carolina and get there as fast as possible. it took us a while but we made it. 
2. we got a lot of gas ahead of time but the news made it seem like 10 times worse then it already is.

Yes because we stock the most important items inside a storage area. And they we're safe during and after the storm.
