A Study done by the Brooking Institute of  live online courses at a college campus found that white male students were called on to answer questions for more than the female and BIPOC counterparts.  

I think when it comes to socioeconomic status, students may not want to show their home in fear of being made fun of or giving up what little privacy they have left.  Multilingual students may struggle without the support of hands on and one on one attention.
