The development of new equipment and machinery in medicine can enhance the advancement of diagnosis and treatment. Music and Art therapy are already in use to help patients recover mentally from serious illnesses. Biomechanical engineers are inventing new equipment to help patients have a better quality of life.

At school subjects such as Art , Technology and Music projects can be co-ordinated so students can see that science is not a stand alone discipline that can solve problems in the real world, co-ordination with other disciplines can be more effective than just . medicine by itself.Students could carry out their own investigations at school with the help of experts( interviews) to research ideas themselves.

Sciences are evolving so fast that only by teaching them in a way where creativity and making students think "outside the box" we will be able to overcome obsolescence. in secondary we teach basic science which is necessary to understand the new discoveries, but students sometimes may feel it is something old and completely disconnected from nowadays break-through research, that is why I feel it is crucial to establish a link between this two worlds ( if possible), and in any case, to approach basic science as an investigation , or Inquiry  Based  Learning, since  the tools and professions of tomorrow have not been created yet.
