This Padlet wont let me respond to your messages so I will try and rectify this.

Just a few things to update you on:

1) We aim to have your results and feedback for the OSCEs available from 4pm on Wednesday 8th November. These will be unratified marks and could be subject to change before the exam board.

2) Next week (Wednesday 8th November) you have a study day. You are required to do some work on:

a) your portfolio and making sure you have everything you need for the tripartite meetings (I attach the required information)

b) we will probably need to add Learning Disability and Sexual Boundaries to the portfolio in year 2 so see a draft of these attached that you may want to start familiarising yourself with.

c) The next assignment will be a 2500 word reflective essay on an experience in practice so you may want to start looking at 'How to write reflectively' and/or some models of reflection e.g. Gibbs or Driscoll/Rolfe

I will not be available next week as I am in Birmingham at an NMC meeting to discuss the draft NMC standards and any gaps there maybe from a HEI perspective.
I hope we all have a productive week and I look forward to seeing you on 15th.

3) On the 15th November I will be leading the day on suicide and self-injury, this will be an emotive day and I have a speaker coming to talk about her experiences of her sons suicide. I am aware some of you have personal/family/friend experience of these issues so I ask any of you who may have concerns about attending the group sessions to contact me directly so we can ensure your learning is developed without detriment to your own health and well-being.

4) On 29th November we will be a PAD submission session in the morning which will be a drop in with a couple of the Programme Team. If there are missing elements you will have 4 days to rectify, get signed off by Programme Team and upload to BB without detriment to your progression.

5) Essay resubmission: For those of you that need to resubmit your essay I have emailed you directly to inform you of an additional support session I will be leading. If you have not received this email and should have done please contact me directly.

Just to let you all know some information that I have gathered regarding student finance in January 2018. Some of you may have noticed that in your student finance account it still says awaiting confirmation, it will still say this until we have all registered to study for our second yr, at which point it will then automatically change.I have currently informed Salford University that none of our cohort have received registration emails for year 2, an email has been sent to the registration team and I'm waiting for information back regarding this, this may come after tripartite meetings, I will keep you all informed as and when I receive more information

We will receive an email from admissions inviting us to re register for our second year, at the moment if you have this email it won't let you register because of the following information which I will post above this post]]> 2018-01-11 14:51:52 UTC https://padlet.com/nus585_63107_1/fvgx1kosaqvj/wish/220603941 Re registering for year two update https://padlet.com/nus585_63107_1/fvgx1kosaqvj/wish/220607392 Ok so i cant figure out how to attach a picture of the email, but basically it says that the TNA's are going to a board on the 18th January to be progressed, the school won't be able to put a specific code in that allows us to re register until we have been through the board, the school says that they will get us in as soon as possible once we have been through the board, which will then enable is to re register for our second year, once this is done, for those of you who have student finance, they will then be automatically told that we have re registered for year 2 and the funds should then be released, hope this all makes sense.
