Participating in this project has been an inspiring and rewarding experience. We enjoyed exploring historical monuments, learning about different cultures, and discovering beautiful natural landscapes.

Greetings from Zagreb!

This has been one of the most intensive and enriching projects I have ever taken part in. Throughout the year, both my students and I learned so much, not only about cultural heritage, but also about collaboration, communication, creativity, and teamwork. My students especially enjoyed interacting with their peers from different countries, working in international groups, and discovering new cultures and perspectives. These experiences helped them grow both academically and personally.

I would also like to thank all our partners for their cooperation, support, friendship, and inspiring ideas. Working with such dedicated teachers has been a true pleasure.

Thank you all for being part of this amazing journey. I wish you great success in your future projects and hope our paths will cross again.

The first surprise was the large number of participating schools and colleagues, as I had never worked with so many partners before; and when the initial arrangements were being made and Sophia said that, given the high number of partners, anyone who didn’t feel able to commit seriously to the project could withdraw, I was taken aback! But my long experience as an eTwinner and my desire to offer this cultural and educational opportunity to my pupils, pushed me on not to give up, even though all “my travel companions”, apart from Jure, were strangers to me. And I haven’t regretted it!! It was a project brimming with content, activities, challenges and the hard work required to meet deadlines, but thanks to the extraordinary efforts of Sophia, who guided us all by the hand, step by step, task by task, in an exceptional manner, I succeeded. She was an enlightening, tireless guide and a real volcano of ideas and resources. Thank you to all my colleagues, who were equally talented and invaluable. I feel honoured to have worked with you all. Thanks also to all the students – the real  actors  of the project – who improved their language and digital skills and practised peer collaboration. It was a real journey through art, history and nature, but above all through human relationships, friendship and cooperation. I wish you every success in your future professional and personal lives, but for now, I wish you a wonderful summer holiday.

Together, we explored different places, cultures, traditions, and stories. We learned that every place has a voice and every voice has a story worth hearing. Through collaboration, creativity, and friendship, we built bridges across countries and discovered how much we have in common despite our differences.

One of my favourite parts of this project was seeing students communicate, share ideas, and learn from one another. Their curiosity, respect, and enthusiasm made every activity special.

A special highlight of this project was having the opportunity to meet Sophia in person. Through this project, our collaboration grew into a genuine friendship, and I discovered what an incredible woman she is. Her kindness, dedication, positive energy, and passion for education have been truly inspiring. I am grateful that this project not only connected schools and cultures but also brought wonderful people into my life.

I am proud of everything we achieved together. Beyond improving our English skills, we developed cultural awareness, digital skills, teamwork, and lasting friendships.

I wish all our partners and students success, happiness, and many exciting opportunities in the future. May the friendships and memories created during this project continue to inspire us long after the project has ended.
