Week 5 Day 2

• Juneyao/HO airline still can't issue and the booking is cancelled in the end

• We issued a lot of tickets from the MATTA FAIR period and did the EO for some, some other we hold till after 01 May as there's simply too much

• The waiting list issue from last week was followed up by an agent from TG but as of now I still don't know if the passenger got the seats or not

• May 02 will need to print a lot of itinerary out and do the EO for a seniors side of a group tour

• redid a previous invoice as I failed to include the other parts of the invoice, after I redid, I was told to split it into 3 parts for the and did so.

checked the waiting list booking from yesterday, it appears to be updated but it might not be what we wanted

used the SQ website to help book some flights (on hold)

a customer called and asked for the price for PENDAC waiting for her to call back

checked back the air Asia website for today but it was already booked yesterday

issued the tickets from day 1 and 2 bookings, also did the EO and saved in the server for them.

did a new booking for 3 pax but there are no seats left so we are forced to choose the waiting list and see if we can get the seats

did the tour invoice for a group tour and opened the OR for it

follow up on the passports for the bookings we did 1-2 week before, in case I forget need renew

checked back on my older bookings to see if we have inputted the details or not

checked back some of the booking from yesterday

searched again for the air Asia flights and came so some conclusion, but the price and availability of seats is volatile

3 booking need ask again on WED and THURS

checked and issue the ticket for a 21 pax group tour ( took a significant amount of time)

did bookings for the boss, need ask for confirmation for 24 apr

was asked to book a combination flight using Amadeus and AirAsia online booking, need check back again tomorrow as the air Asia website was down/slow

today was hectic as I have zero to little free time

noticed there's a schedule change in the Amadeus queue, need to ask tomorrow (amendment here, apparently I screwed up pretty badly, luckily it didn't escalate cause apparently the customer is still okay with the change? I'll need to follow up with the customer)

Did 2 booking, need to check back on Monday (refer book)

Did the OR for the PENTFU group trip

learn a little about the GDS Saber

learn about how to do the invoice for the tour department and the OR for tour also

I peruse through the Amadeus text book for the day and rechecked on some of yesterday's work

A fellow intern helped remind me to do something I forgot yesterday

learned to book SQ flights through an alternative method

helped check an SQ NDC/discount flight but to no avail. It seems they haven't update it yet

learned about the MATTA fair event we will need to attend 27-28 APR

learn to arrange the filing for the grouped tours in the correct way where the EO should line up with the flight ticket/itinerary

learn that in the future flight ticket/itinerary should be printed 2 sided (NEED BE AWARE)

inputted the passport details for 55uebl

the dupe issue from 15 Apr is resolved

did booking for a MR LIM and did the invoice and OR, different being that it was not an online bank in but instead the customer came physically to the travel agency and give the cash physically and it was much the same procedure but the ending steps are a little different

was given an exercise by one of the seniors to find the cheapest flight from PEN-ICN-ATL-DTW-ATL-ICN-PEN

help do the TQT and passport details for the PEN-TFU 4 bookings

an issue about duplicate between PNR I have encountered, need to ask TG TQT Dept. About it .

If in future the name of a customer is DAVID CHUNG TA WEI, in the Amadeus system it should be entered as NM1DAVID CHUNG/TA WEI or Chung/Ta Wei David

If one day I am faced with a USA booking, I will need to get the US visa from the customer as I will need to follow the name there as opposed to the name the customer gives

Spent a good chunk of time learning to void and split the bookings with the incorrect name inputted

Got the contacts of TG ticketing dept. PIC

Did the EO for the group tour because if we did the TQT on that day we will need to do the EO if it's a group tour

Labour day

did the EOs for group tours some left need fill in the passport details and save their itinerary in the office server

Checked up on the previous bookings that i did and made sure if i can fill any details as of now i filled

Did the 2 EO, and made sure that it was correct and checked by the seniors, as mistakes are still a very real possibility.

I did a booking wrongly by booking the wrong arriving destination, luckily my seniors and supervisor managed to correct the booking with their methods. This blunder of mine have cost the company a great deal of time and favors, i must be careful in the future and avoid this type of issue from ever happening again.

Noticed that a few bookings still have not yet have their passport ready, some are still a few months in the future so i still have time for it by then, but some others are very close to their departure date, i will need to ask for the passport somehow, lest any issues occurs when the departure/travel dates arrives

Got called up for a meeting with our company intern supervisor, i was briefly told about the past experiences of the supervisor and he noted some flaws that i had and i will need to iron them out to have not just a successful internship but a career life in general.

did the tasks left by the other intern as she switched to another department

did some bookings for one of the seniors and did the EO for it as it is a grouped tour

checked back on some previous bookings and did some that have their details available already.
