The sharks should buy our product because our headphones provide a unique solution to a significant problem. As more people migrate to the United States, many in which their first language is not English, there is a higher demand for translators or interpreters. Our product can help students and employees who don’t speak English as their first language to have easier access to understanding material in another language without having to go through the tricky process of hiring a translator or having to rush the process of understanding a second language. This product is also beneficial to people with a learning disability who need more time to intake information and this can help many people stay on track.

We started our marketing progress at schools that we had access to and could showcase our product at local fairs, rallies, and etc. We caught the attention of our targeted audience at a school fair. We started selling our product for a little amount but as we have a higher demand for product we have raised the price of the headphones to $60.

Anthony, Karen, and Morgan were brainstorming ways to help people and make a difference on more than one community. Everybody deserves a fair chance and an equal education, some people come from different backgrounds and learn at different paces so there are high chances of someone falling behind in school or even the workplace. In order to give everyone a fighting chance we discussed ideas that were beneficial to more than one audience but wasn't too expensive for people to access or to cheap that it didn't work.

Anthony, Karen, and Morgan collected data from friends and strangers about products that would someone learn and keep on track with their work. Most people said they struggled with understanding material or staying on track with heavy work loads. We decided the best way to approach these issues is not with a big and outgoing device but with something small and effective, like headphones.

When presenting our product at a school event, a president of one of the local clubs saw our product and became interested. He put in a good word for us with friends around the school who might be interested and we gained some following on our social media and request for inventory began to grow.

So far in the last two years we have sold $30,000 worth of product. We would like to reach a larger audience and broadcast our product to different schools and businesses across America. We have spent extra money fixing tiny bug issues that formed unexpectedly. We also have been able to succeed in shipping out more product at once compared to when we started. For this reason we would like to ask for $50,000 in order to reach a larger audience and tend for shipping and what it takes to make our headphones.
