Expo is a chance for countries to get together and show case their products and services.
    UAE already has a strong tourism industry with approximately 15 million international overnight tourists in Dubai moreover there are 156,000 tourists visiting the Burj Khalifa each month and there is a strong possibility with expo 2020 these numbers will drastically increase.Tourists already bring 28.5 billion US dollars to Dubai and these figures will rise creating more wealth for the UAE such
     wealth could help the UAE achieve a superpower status.If Dubai displays great organisation with the expo this could influence other countries to follow their lead meaning that the UAE has more qualities to be an influencing superpower . A superpower can be defined as an extremely powerful nation that is capable of influencing international events. On the other hand it would appear that the UAE has great expectations for the expo and are possibly underestimating the costs involved in constructing the expo site with costs of around 156 billion which will reduce expo profits.

    Countries that have a lot of control of what happens through out the world. UAE has just recently became a super power. UAE has a lot of money now and has a lot of tourism.

    • China because of its economic growth , education and the worth of its country 
    • Finland because of its highest education system 
    • Nigeria because of its high population and there is a large supply of oil there 
    • India because of its high population 
    • Russia because of the size of its country 
    • America because of its high reputation around the world and because of the military 
    • Mongolia because they have so much copper (82 bill pounds) and gold (46 mill ounces) and as well as that there is another mine FULL of coal and because they are in such high demand it is estimated that it will have the highest growth rate of any Asian country.
    • Bangladesh have tackled their biggest problem, the large population. How? Well the estimated amounts of children women were having was 6.3 so the government went village to village giving out birth control, and it worked. Now the estimated children per woman is 2.3. And now the economy comes in!
    • Taiwan have also solved a big problem that is their health care system. Before nearly have the country was uninsured and people there weren’t as healthy as they were supposed to be, so the government got Professor William to fix it by giving everyone a digital card. This card would keep track of medications, test results, medical history and relevant records. And this has helped to improve it because of how quick it is!!

    We believe that the UAE could become a superpower in the future as it has a good government, wealth, infrastructure and it is developed. With the upcoming expo in 2020 the country will gain more popularity and it will become more economically developed. The UAE has a lot of oil which contributes to the economy of the country on a large scale (10% of its GDP). Due to its amazing features the UAE attract a lot of tourism. Although the UAE is a small country it has a huge GDP and a good economy. Dubai is the most famous city and it provides the most tourism and money. This country could also be a superpower because of its GDP growth. Tourism completes 5.2 percent of the UAE's GDP
    Overall we think that the UAE is a big superpower.
