Miles had an obstacle where he had to face Mr Chamberlin/the white cat in multiple dreams and he got threatened for example."you don't know me but i know you and i will come for you." pg 176 Also miles had another dream about the cat with nine tails with a forest and a castle in this part of the book there is a quote it says"A castle iron and a cat-o'-nine-tails as a decoration." pg 46
