adab is a must in seeking knowledge in order to seek barakah from the teacher. as imam malik once emphasised in his words, "learn adab before seeking knowledge", it portrayed how important and crucial adab is to the point it's being upheld higher compared to knowledge. example on how we should practice adab in the journey of seeking knowledge is by giving greetings to the teacher as a simple 'peace be upon you' and speak properly to the teacher especially when we're asking questions. we should acknowledge that their status is higher compared to us due to their knowledge though our rank might seem higher in the eyes of mere human. barakah from the teacher is really important for us so that the knowledge that we gain will actually benefit us in some way and not learn it for the sake of examinations. therefore, we should be practicing adab when we're seeking knowledge.

al quran is a mukjizat from allah swt to the ummah of prophet muhammad p.b.u.h. as his ummah, we should be extremely grateful as allah has promised the authenticity of quran until the day of judgement. al quran is called the book of guidance where it considered the primary source of islam as it uncovers everything a man could ask for; how to perform ibadah to how to build a generation, name it and the holy book of quran has it all. compared to the previous book; torah, bible and psalms, al quran has never been altered by limited knowledge of deceitful and filthy humans for their benefit or to fulfil their lust. as the servants of allah s.w.t., we should refer to the quran in all circumstances; healthy or sick, happy or sad. we should never depart from the quran in order for us to not lose our only guidance in life and forget our purpose for being born in this world.

to manifest the first pillar of faith, which is believing in Allah, we must learn tawhid which discusses Allah's name (asmaul husna) and attributes. tawhid is divided into three, namely :

tawhid ar-rububiyyah
tawhid al-uluhiyyah
tawhid al-asma wa-sifat

to add on, Allah is incomparable to any kind of creature or element due to His essence that cannot be comprehended by a man's logic. Allah does not have partners and assuming or associating something with Allah as a partner may lead to shirk which is considered the gravest sin in islam. by believing in those, we will gain humility and the tranquillity of the soul by voluntarily submitting ourselves to His will.

Allah created angels from light, assigning each one a specific role to fulfill with unwavering obedience, as they do not possess free will like humans. Their tasks, such as Jibril delivering divine revelations and Izrail taking souls, reflect a perfect system of order and hierarchy, demonstrating an ideal model for how an organized structure should function. The angels' complete submission to Allah's will serves as a reminder to humans of the importance of fulfilling our own roles and responsibilities with sincerity and dedication. Allah’s creation of angels is not out of need but to show humanity the value of order, discipline, and devotion, encouraging us to submit to divine guidance and serve a higher purpose.

salah is the most essential act of worship in a muslim’s daily life, and its acceptance begins with proper physical and spiritual preparation. this includes maintaining ṭaharah through wuduʼ or tayammum, fulfilling all conditions such as purity, proper clothing, facing the qiblah, and observing the correct time and intention. without meeting these prerequisites, a person’s prayer may not be valid, highlighting the importance of being mindful before we even begin the ṣalah. understanding the pillars of salah is equally crucial, as they form the core actions that cannot be omitted. khushu', or focused humility, gives life to these actions. it is developed by understanding what we recite, eliminating distractions, and sincerely standing before allah with reverence. true khushu' turns ṣalah into a source of peace and guidance, not just a routine act. islam also provides flexibility in performing salah in different life circumstances. whether traveling, ill, or in times where voluntary prayers are encouraged, the application of ṣalah remains relevant and accessible. the allowance of qaṣr and jamak during travel or adapting movements during illness reflects the mercy of allah in making worship manageable. by internalizing these principles, a believer can perform ṣalah with both correctness and devotion, no matter the situation.
