Why are the F2F class numbers including the HyFlex classes? They are really different, and we have had better results with our HyFlex classes.

More and more, we encourage our instructors to work with our Instructional Designer to improve online courses, and, in the end, student success and retention. This plea seems counterintuitive as we have ONE Designer whose time is already incredibly impacted.

Our program is in the building phase and we don't have institutional data yet. Here is a link to a fact sheet from Chaffey College. They had an overall increase of 12% in online course success rates, 32.3% increase for black students and 24.2% for students ages 25-29.

We absolutely need more support in terms of instructional design--one designer (who is also tasked with dozens of other things) for hundreds of online faculty just doesn't add up.

How can we convince more online faculty to take on an online embedded tutor, if one is already hired and available?
