         <description><![CDATA[<div>Reading this article shows how important it is having a positive school counseling program within a school system can be. We can help direct and guide the students to a better future and prepared them for college or workforce. Not only we will prepare the high school student but will help the elementary aged studies to increase their knowledge and raise their desire to go further in school and learn more about themselves and the world of work. </div><div>” Low student-to-school-counselor ratios combined with full implementation of the ASCA National Model can lead to more-informed college decision-making for graduating high school students. School Counselor: Ms. Scott Date: November 5, 2020 

Activity: Equity in Education: A General Overview 

Grade:9-12 Grade 

ASCA Mindsets and Behaviors: 

Learning Objectives: 

● Students will discuss the difference between the school equity in education. 

Materials: 

● developed in the policies and programmers of OECD Countries 

● Discussion equity in learning opportunities and in results 

Procedure: 

● The students will be asking how do they feel about not having the basic material in their school? 

● The Counselor will introduce material on how they can overcome. 

● The counselor will then show the class grade standing compared to other schools. 

● Discussion about the results with the whole group. 

Plan for Evaluation: 

Process Data: This lesson will be conducted the entire 9-12 grade of approximately 600 students lasting 20 minutes. 

Outcome Data: 100% of students will know why it's important to continue working on their grades and testing scores. 

Follow Up: During the following school year, students will continue to be inform as about the school standing. ]]></description>
