When going to these different schools she never gets to meet anyone because she doesn't stay for long. The school that she is moving to now is Webster Grove. Now that she is at this new school she found out that her mothers new boyfriend is her teachers brother. Steph also has a crush on her teacher and does whatever she can to impress him. I also liked how the book related to real things that happen in high school that I could relate to.  In the book there was one part that I could really make a connections with which was when a fight broke out at a school dance. The fight was between Steph's best friend and another student. Steph didn't have anything to do with the fight but since she was present she was punished too. I would recommend this book to teenagers who are on their way to high school. My reasoning behind this is because in this book they basically hit all of the points of being a new high school student. Also, they share how you can be different. I find these two things important because as a child or new person most people do things just to fit in.
