In the story there are 4 characters, 3 pigs and teh wolf. A reflection that emerges from the story is the idea that the decisions we make can have long-term consequences. The piglets who chose less resistant materials were not only looking for immediate comfort, but also underestimated the potential dangers they faced. This can lead us to think about our own lives: often, we look for quick and easy solutions instead of striving to build a solid foundation that protects us from adversity.

The wolf is shown with Nazi symbols, which is used to tell children that the Nazis are the bad guys.

Juan Bellon Barreira

The story of The Three Little Pigs is simple on the surface, but it has layers of meaning that can reflect deeper social, political, or cultural themes depending on the context. The characters and symbols within the story represent values such as hard work, preparedness, and fear of external threats. In the realm of propaganda, these stories can be tailored to instill specific ideological messages, often using symbols and themes to evoke emotional or psychological responses in the audience. Education, when controlled, can certainly be a vehicle for reinforcing these narratives, shaping the way people think and behave.

They would spread the fear of the Natzis coming if they did not buy the war bonds, they would also use the bandwagon technique, supporting people to buy those war bonds. Another one that they used, was transfer because they would make people associate national symbols with "the good things", and Natzis symbols with "the bad things". They used Natzis symbols such as the swastika in the wolf so that they would associate that symbol with the "bad ones" of the war. They also used the UK flag, showing that buying those war bonds would help Canada but also help Europe.

This cartoon was used as propaganda, but because it was a very well-known cartoon among kids, this could brainwash their thoughts, so that they grow up thinking about the Natzis as the "bad guys".

It was effective because it was not only aimed at adults, but also at children, and as they are easier to manipulate, they would grow up thinking that they were the victims and that they could win the war if they bought war bonds.

The characters are represented in a light and funny way, especialy de first two pigs while the third one is more mature. The wolf in the story is essentially bad guy and is a Nazi commander while the pigs are part of the british empire, this is a way of showing children how the germans were trying to kill them. The main technique that is used is reliatability and the constant use of big and atractive words all the time to make sure the message of war is integrated in people's lives, specifically children.

As for the symbols, the wolf uses the Nazi party symbol and the third pig uses the british flag, one thing to note is that the other two pigs represent de canadian people while the thirs is the british Empire and how investing in the british empire will be used for ware efforts, essentially asking the canadian people for their money.

The propaganda technique is obviously

used to brainwash the people that are watching it, the main intention is to make people save their money and then later invest in war efforts or enlist so that the british empire can win the war, for that reason Canada is represented by the weak pigs while the british are strong and capable.

The two houses from the smaller pigs got blown up, but the one from the older brother (made from government bonds) survives, saving the pigs from the natzi wolf. Propaganda is used by remaking the Thrifty Pigs story, in a way which represents that those bricks of the older pig are instead govermnent bonds. This makes people think that government bonds are going to protect the canadian people from the natzis, at the end we can see some phrases that try to make money from their people to fight the war. In the video we can see symbols such as the swastika, which is used to represent the natzis. The canadian government sells that the natzis are the enemies, the ones that have to be destroyed. This may make people from canada think about the natzis like the enemies.

This is an ad for kids, so there is clearly two sides, such as the good people and bad ones. The propaganda in this is to teach kids that the wolf "Nazis" are bad people and to also buy war bonds rather tan spending money on things you don't really need and help instead, using symbols and similar things.

The propaganda techniques that we can see are that they try to send a message of how this war was. We can see the Nazi symbol that the wolf wear, and also the three pigs are wearing a flag of the UK. I think that the video represent that canadian people might be against Nazis because the were very bad for canadian.

The pigs represent the Canadian people that are trying to be aware from the wolf that is represented as a natzi. The wolf blow down two of three of the houses but the final one can be distroyed due to the propaganda bricks. The propaganda that we can find is the bricks of joyn the war that the pig use for his house. The different symbols that the video show are the natzi's ones in the clothes of the wolf. I think that this video can change people opinion of natzis because in the video they show them like bad people.

I can identify that they use a cartoon that is for kids to change the way they think. The symbols that are used are the "esvastica", because it whas the symbol for the germans during the world war, also we see some tickets that where used at the USA for hepling people. An education could be use to brainwash people because is what they learn, and they dont know what is good or what is bad.

This is a very intelligent propaganda to tell the world that Germany is the bad one (in this case the wolf) and we supose that the three little pigs are the rest of the countries that suffer in that war.

Then, I can see that they have chosen the three pigs for children to understand it too. Also, they put the nazi’s symbol in the wolf to make understand that they are the bad ones. Finally, they also write different sentences during the video selling bono’s of the military’s services to get people to sign up and subsidize all the expenses of the war. On the other hand, they used the nazi symbol and the three pigs carry the British flag. Finally, an education can be brainwashed people because they think they are the good ones and they want people to know it and think it too.

The techniques used is transfer, due to the fact that at the beggining of the video we saw house made by money which is a characteristic of transfer. furthermore, we can find glittering generalities when the video says that whenyou buy a war bonus you are defending your country. At the end, we can find a bandwagond when the video says that everybody is buying the war bonus. One of the symbol which we can see is the nazis symbol, which comes from Hinduism, Buddhism, and Jainism. In my opinion, an education is used to learn knowledges, past events, even though is a embarrasing or bad history, we need to admit past mistakes and to take it in a correct way

Adrian

The characters in the video symbolize people involved in the war, with the three pigs representing Canadians, the "heroes," and the wolf embodying the Nazis, the "villains," who can be defeated only by those who purchased war bonds.

This video employs several common propaganda techniques from that era. It instills fear about the Nazis invading if war bonds are not bought, and it utilizes the bandwagon technique to encourage people to join the movement of buying bonds. Another tactic used is transfer, where national symbols are linked to positive outcomes, while Nazi symbols are associated with negativity. For example, the wolf is designed with Nazi symbols like the swastika to reinforce the idea that these emblems represent the "bad side" of the conflict. The inclusion of the UK flag emphasizes that purchasing war bonds would not only support Canada but also aid Europe. Although this cartoon serves as propaganda, its familiarity among children could shape their perceptions from a young age, fostering a mindset that views Nazis as the "bad guys." The approach was effective because it targeted not just adults but also children, who are more impressionable, leading them to believe that they were victims and that purchasing war bonds could help secure victory in the war.

The wolf appears as a Nazi, with an armband and a hat with the Nazi symbol, while the three little pigs represent Canadians.

2) One of the propaganda techniques that we can see more, is the fact of putting the wolf as a Nazi, I think they do it that way because as the wolf destroys everything to the three little pigs, they try to indicate that the Nazis are the ones who do things wrong and try to give an image that they should not be supported.

3) The symbol that stands out the most and that is most seen in the video is the Nazi symbol, which is represented in the armband and in the hat of the wolf. The theme that the video is trying to represent, is the second world war.

4) Yes, in this case, I think that the themes that the video give us that and can educate, can brainwash people's mind above all, if the video has images that call the atention of little kids, then they can grow up with the idea that the nazis were not good.

5) I think that the animation of the video is good because they used the story of the "three little pigs" that is recognize worldwide so the people that see the video can understand good the message that are trying to transmit.

The canadian people is represented as the three pigs, and Natzis as the wolf. The pigs are the good ones and the wolf is the enemy. There are some propaganda techniques that we identify. One of them is that they associate the bad character to the germans to explain children that they are as bad as the wolf. Also they say a lot of times that the material the pigs use to protect is very good and resistant, they'are announcing this bricks. The Natzi symbol is included on the clothes of the wolf showing he forms part of the germans, also is included on the enemies airplanes to explain that this symbol is very bad. Education can change the way of thinking of each person because since people are little, if they put something in your head, you will think about it almost for the rest of your life, unless they show you otherwise. No, I think that if I were a girl now I would not know very well since children know much less about politics and do not pay attention or think about it

The characters symbolize national identity during World War II. The pigs are shown as hardworking, with one building a strong house, while the Big Bad Wolf represents the Nazi threat. Propaganda techniques like fear (showing the wolf as dangerous) and bandwagon (promoting war bonds) are used. The war bonds symbolize security, and the wolf represents fascism. The message is about being prepared and supporting the war. Education can "brainwash" when it only shows one side, which was common in wartime. The animation was effective then, but today, people might be more critical of this type of propaganda.

The whole video is a metaphore to refer the nazis as the villains and the three little pigs, that represents Canadiens, are the "poor victims". This approach makes a lot of sense, since the video was made by Canada, so they use the figure of the bad wolf to represent the Germany side, because by this propaganda they use a subtle persuassion to make you believe Germans are the only resposinble people of the second world war. I can identify the use of cartoons, the music, and the association of characters from a childish fable to real life people and ideologies as propaganda techniques. In the video we can appreciate the wolf wearin the nazi's uniform with the swastika all over it, we can also see war airplanes, aim, and much more elements such as weapons used in wars. This is a perfect example an attempt to brainwash the public by educational purposed videos and news, using a children tale as propaganda to convince to take sides on a war.
