1} ~ In your own words, explain what a burden is and provide and example:
Burden- Something that is heavily loaded, as if you need to execute something, an example of this is completing school and the work that it gives
-------------------------------------------------------
2} ~ How does Kipling view those being imperialized? Is he correct in his description?
He feels that the men of America who are white need to get rid of the people who are of different color to take over another country. An example of this is, "your new-caught sullen people, half devil half child". He describes this in this way because the countries that america are imperializing, the majority of people who live in those countries are people of color.
-------------------------------------------------------
3} ~ How would you characterize Kipling’s views of imperialism? Do you agree with Kipling’s
views? Explain.
I think Kipling has a very negative connotation of people of color. I do not agree with his views because slavery isn't okay and no race is superior to another one.
-------------------------------------------------------
4}~ According to Kipling, and in your own words, what was the “White Man’s Burden?”
To Kipling the white mans burden was to dominate other races for economic gain.

My opinion is that at this time annexing other countries was almost like a fad, every large county was engaging in it. In the long run, imperialism has helped America survive and become better in many ways including economically. I wouldn't say imperialism is a good thing, but more of a necessary thing for a country to expand and gain more power, trade, and money.
