This typically ranges from 10-20 minutes, however, how the technology is being utilized to engage students is a big factor in student learning.</div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>After completing our case study, I realize that drill and practice software in addition to paper assignments go hand in hand. Drill and practice software is good to assist students in practicing skills and getting immediate feedback on if they are answering the questions in correctly. However, students need to work through problems on paper or whiteboards to demonstrate their work. In addition worksheets, that do not over work students, can be beneficial for giving students that ability to see their work and analyze their steps with peers or the teacher.</div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>As it relates to math one way that I have been able to incorporate technology to promote collaboration is by using problem based learning tasks. Students in these tasks are creating videos, images using technology, slideshows, or other digital means to demonstrate their understanding of math in the real world. They enjoy the ability to create and work together to make sense of the math around them. It does not always come out pretty, as I am just beginning problem based tasks for the first time this year as a new teacher, however students enjoy the productive struggle which has been the best part to see them persevere! 😊</div>]]></description>

Allowing them to make sense of math on their own, coupled by asking them intentional questions to get them on the right train of thought can be beneficial in their problem solving abilities as they grow in their mathematical journeys.</div>]]></description>
